In Guatemala as in most places, bank holidays are sacred. However, Professor Cesar Cabrera, sixth grade teacher of the School Rangel Galindo, had the idea of using the national holiday of the day of the revolution, to further practice on computer skills and research on curriculum materials . He mentioned that he would be willing to support other teachers in joining him, if the director gave him the authorisation to use the computers and to come to school.
To Cesar's delight and excitement, all teachers and the director of the school accepted the challenge and were willing to participate. César's greatest satisfaction was to see his colleagues using the equipment and doing it well. "To me, this is historical, because I had never seen all of us working so well".
No need to say that the teachers at school Rangel Galindo are motivated and ready to continue with the project activities next year.
