It is the end of the school year, and the data and results of this year's actions, results that you have made possible, are here! Below is a quick summary.
Twenty eight new teachers committed to the TINFA's program at the beginning of this school year in Guatemala. Each of these teachers attended workshops based on their skill level, worked in monthly one on one sessions with Cesar, and collaborated in creating a virtual curriculum for their specific classes (4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grade). The teachers visited other schools. 100% of the teachers volunteered to demonstrate their learning by facilitating a model class, for which they were provided feedback. You enabled a total of 525 different actions improving teachers' skills this year in Guatemala. 700 students benefited directly from these actions!
And now, let's talk about the impact!
The teachers's skills on applicable technology in the classroom have improved 184% during the year. Zooming on the performance of female teachers, we saw an increase of 265% in this area!
The attitude of the students towards education increased by 24%. Yes, the students are more excited to come to school and to learn!
100% of schools we work with wish to continue with the program next year.
These results are showing great progress, deep learning and a hunger to do more. This is exactly the type of impact that we want to see. This is exactly the type of impact that we want to and, with your support, can do more of.
