Internship and Volunteer
TINFA is an independent, small nonprofit organization, run in Seattle by its board, executive director, and volunteers, including student interns.
Volunteer/Intern duties may include research on topics relevant to grant proposals, local programs, presentations, articles and other communications, grant writing and research, event planning, website and social media development and upkeep and other day-to-day functions of a small non-profit. Interns may receive academic credit for their internship based on approval from their university.
The ideal volunteer/intern will have clear goals and be comfortable with a high degree of independence. Volunteers/Interns should have an interest in education, technology, international development work, or non-profit management. Ability to speak, read and write Spanish is not required, though helpful.
