Yesterday, two sets of 4th grader classes at John Stanford International (USA) and Juan de la Barrera (Mexico) discussed and compared the characteristics of the state they live in, Washington and Jalisco.
The students were prepared with visuals and writings, they were organized, they presented their finding with great skills. We found many commonalities in between our 2 regions, including some unexpected. (ex: they both have volcanoes), and some noticeable differences (ex: climate, the use of traditional clothing).
Thank you Maestra Maria and Maestro Everardo for preparing the students in making such a quality exchange!
