Late last year we shared a special milestone: 100% of the cohort in TINFA’s teacher training program successfully graduated. That means 60 teachers at 12 partner schools in rural Guatemala now have the technology and skills needed to keep elementary students more engaged in learning.
As an update, we’re proud to share a new metric – 92% of the kids in these schools are staying in school. That equals a 7% increase, or 18 more students, transitioning to middle school across schools that graduated from our program in 2025. This is exciting and encouraging news as we bring on a new cohort of teachers for training in 2026!
With the support of the TINFA community and the dedication of teachers in our program, we’re working together to advance our mission of providing technology and information to underserved schools and keeping kids in school longer. Thank you for your partnership toward meaningful, lasting progress. We are grateful!
