Este año 2019 tenía muchas ganas de viajar a Seattle para compartir parte de mi experiencia de trabajo que estoy teniendo con los niños, maestros y padres de familia en las escuelas de Guatemala. Al inicio se me dificultó el proceso de los documentos en la Embajada de los Estados Unidos, rechazaron mi solicitud, pero con el apoyo de Mike Madden y Emma Le Du obtuvimos cartas de los senadores y una legislación del estado de Seattle para dar soporte al trámite respaldando mi viaje, al final tuve la gran oportunidad de tener mis papeles en orden y vivir una grata experiencia por 2 semanas.

Tuve la oportunidad de compartir mi experiencia de trabajo durante la cena para la recaudación de fondos, estuve en varias reuniones con diferentes clubes del Rotario, reunión con la junta directiva de TINFA, tuve la oportunidad de visitar varias escuelas, Jhon Stanford, Stevens Elemntar, Brier Elemntar y O'dea con el objetivo de observar, participar activamente, enseñar los números mayas intercambiando las buenas prácticas con los maestros y estudiantes para poder compartir estas experiencias con los maestros en Guatemala.

Gracias a todos por recibirme en sus hogares de trabajo, está experiencia que tuve cada lugar que me visitó ayudarme a fortalecer el trabajo que estoy realizando con los maestros en Guatemala. Infinitamente agradecido con la organización de TINFA por permitirme vivir esta experiencia inolvidable,

This year 2019, I really wanted to travel to Seattle to share with people the work experience that I have with the children, teachers and parents in the schools of Guatemala. At the beginning, the process of getting the required documentation at the United States Embassy was difficult. My request was rejected. But with the support of Mike and Emma, we obtained letters of support from the Washington State senators and house representatives to support my trip. In the end, I had the great opportunity to have my papers in order and live a pleasant experience for 2 weeks.

I had the opportunity to share my work experience during the fundraising dinner, I was in several meetings with different Rotary clubs, meeting with the board of directors of TINFA, I had the opportunity to visit several schools, John Stanford Int’l, Stevens Elementary, Brier Elementary and O'dea High School with the objective of observing, actively participating, teaching (I gave a class on Mayan numbers), exchanging good practices with teachers and students. My purpose is to share these experiences with teachers in Guatemala.

Thank you all for receiving me at your work, your home. All the experiences that I have had in the places I have visited helps me strengthen the work I am doing with teachers in Guatemala. Infinitely grateful to the TINFA organization for allowing me to live this unforgettable experience,
