This week, 52 teachers from 12 schools graduated in the Retalhuleu and Quetzaltenango region of Guatemala from the TINFA/Ministry of Education year long program.

Teachers: CONGRATULATIONS !

It required your active participation in the Skill level training, a 2 full days and one 1/2 day program.

It required your active participation in the grade-level curriculum building training, every single month.

It required you preparing a model class and presenting it in front of your peer teachers, taking on their feedback and directly incorporating them into your class.

It required preparing yourself for the monthly one on one sessions with the TINFA coordinator, getting all your questions ready, and taking full advantage of these 30min to advance your hands-on learning

It required demonstrating your knowledge at the end of the year, with a model class, in front of your students and an impressive evaluation panel, made of your director, a graduated teacher, a rep from the ministry of education and a rep from TINFA.

It required showing up and demonstrating your skills for the project evaluation at the beginning and at the end of the project, for TINFA to be able to assess overall progress.

And more importantly, it required you to have a consistent positive open attitude towards learning during the training and in your classroom with your students

You succeeded 100% in meeting all these challenges. Teachers, CONGRATULATIONS!
