After having spent two weeks in Seattle, Professor Cesar Cabrera arrived back in Guatemala and is back in his 3rd grade classroom this week.
Cesar spent two weeks in Seattle, participating in the Tamales Dinner and spending quality time in four schools in the area. Cesar's goals in visiting the schools were to observe, actively participate, teach, exchange best practices with the teachers and bring his learning back to his community in Guatemala.
Thank you to Brier Elementary, JSIS, McDonald Elementary and the Northwest school for welcoming Cesar, and exchanging so fully with him. The lessons learnt on all sides are numerous and still in the processing. These learnings will be significant in shaping the ever evolving TINFA programs.
