Yesterday, members of University Sunrise Rotary connected through Skype with 5th grade teachers from 8 of our partner schools, as the teachers were attending their monthly curriculum building workshop. Prof. Cesar (on the right on the picture), demonstrated a model class to his fellow 5th grade teachers, who were acting as students and provided feedback on the class.

Prof. Cesar modeled an art class, focusing on the techniques of drawing landscape. He used, during his model class, a video that he previously made and edited himself, (skills that he learnt through the TINFA monthly skill level workshop). He explained the foundation techniques of drawing and used the natural beauty of the community, its volcanos, as the subject. The teachers will now be able to replicate this class with their students. They will be able to use Cesar’s video as a support material.
